Tarun Choudhary's path to precision engineering didn't start in a factory — it started in his father's textile export business in Delhi, where a single mismatch could mean an entire shipment being rejected. That early exposure to zero-margin-for-error quality control shaped a discipline he'd carry for life.
He completed his Commerce degree from Delhi University, followed by an MBA in Retail Management, and spent his early career managing production and quality for global fashion brands. In 2007, with no formal engineering background, he took a leap most wouldn't dare — founding KatanaMech Solutions to bring advanced tooling and machining technology to India.
Today, he's recognized as one of the driving forces behind India's shift from "good enough" manufacturing to world-class precision.
